Remove all SILENCES - DaVinci Resolve Pluggin

It becomes a painful experience to remove each silence between consecutive words if the audio is long. I t becomes even more painful when you have many such audio files. Though one can remove silence parts using Audacity too in just few clicks but that can process just audio file not video. And you want to make cuts by removing silences as you would have done mannualy in Davinci Resolve timeline. DaVinci Resolve studio has a simple method to remove all the silences using trancription of the video file but it only supports few languages including English. Also it is not as good as the mannual editing in the timeline.

Here is a simple method to process all the video file in the media pool at once. This method utilises scripting capability of the DaVinci Resolve.

Download the "Remove_silence.zip" file and extract it. Read te instructions in the text file "readme.txt".
